Siglion’s development projects include the Vaux site in the city centre, which is the first to see work get underway. It will be a superb flagship development which will create a fantastic focus for people who live, work or visit the city.
Other major sites are Seaburn seafront, a 10 acre coastal location and Chapelgarth, a 112 acre site allocated for housing in the City Council’s unitary development plan. Farringdon Row and Numbers Garth will also be developed for housing, retail and leisure.
These five developments have the size and locations to have a major impact on the city and surrounding area. They will bring new opportunities and growth to Sunderland, and boost the profile of the city as a forward looking, confident centre.
